Andrea Chase

Andrea’s journey into marketing began nearly 20 years ago with a post-graduate internship at a community theatre. Having originally studied psychology in university, marketing was not part of her plans. Yet, this unexpected opportunity ignited a deep enthusiasm for the field—one that continues to drive her today.

With a passion for helping brands uncover and showcase their unique “magic,” Andrea has honed a diverse range of skills. Over the years, she has held roles such as Digital Strategist, Social Media Manager, Online Community Engagement Specialist, and Head of Marketing. Through each project and collaboration, she has continuously sharpened her expertise and emerged as an entrepreneurial leader in the digital space.

Now, as Chief Marketing Officer of BAITS Global (MarketingVerse), Andrea focuses on working with women-led businesses and scaling tech ventures, helping them bring their innovations to a global stage.

Her entrepreneurial experience runs deep. Andrea founded ProCabby, a mobile app designed to modernize and transform the taxi and limo industries. Under her leadership, ProCabby secured over three international contracts in less than 12 months—using many of the same marketing strategies MarketingVerse offers today. This firsthand experience gives Andrea a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs that small businesses face.

Andrea is driven by a commitment to entrepreneurship and is especially passionate about supporting women in business and technology. She is a sought-after speaker, having presented at both local and international events, as well as in university classrooms. Her experiences as an entrepreneur—filled with both raw challenges and inspiring victories—fuel the stories she shares with audiences and clients alike.

She’s also the host of Marketing Mavericks, a podcast that explores innovative marketing strategies and success stories and blunders. In addition to being a guest on several other podcasts, Andrea holds a degree in Psychology and a diploma in Small & Medium Enterprise Management, weaving her knowledge of human behaviour and business strategy into her marketing techniques.
